Fort-Gerón, circa 2104 - 2119 (early concept art)

"Fort-Gerón" (called by locals as "Gärun" which means "Tower")
Is a fortress located in Northwest Rumen, near the city of Gallibar. It was built as a small defence fort during the times of the Great Gollician War.
During the Union era (1920-2101) it was considered to be a local tourist destination and a heritage site of local residents. After the fall of the Union and the beginning of the Warlord Era across Gollicia, Rumen fell into the state of chaos. A growing militarist movement, known as "The Dark Legionaries" under General Galvarino, took control of most of the Northwestern provinces of Rumen and made Fort-Gerón their main citadel and Galvarino’s own place of residence.

In 2119 near the ending stage of the First Global War, Western Alliance of Independent Nations (WAIN) and their forces launched an offensive into the Legionary’s occupied territories and launched a surprise attack on Fort-Gerón. General Galvarino was killed and The Dark Legionaries were disbanded, ending the militarist terror in the region.
